Who we are
This website is run by DJS Scaffolding Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17294643. Our registered office is 16 Sudbury Avenue, Ilkeston, Derbyshire, DE7 5GT. What we collect
When you ask for a quote, we collect what you put in the form: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, the postcode of the job, the answers you pick about the job, any notes you add, and the date of your event if you're booking event scaffolding. We also record which page of the site you sent the form from.
Why we use it
We use your details to contact you about your enquiry, arrange a visit and give you a quote. If you book a job with us, we use them to carry out the work, apply for any pavement licence it needs, and invoice you. We don't use your details for marketing, and we never sell them.
Our lawful basis
We use your details because you've asked us for a quote, which means taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Once you book a job, we use them to carry out that contract and to meet our legal duties, such as keeping tax records.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is stored securely by the company that hosts this website and is delivered to us by an email service. If your job needs a pavement licence, we share the job address and dates with the council that issues it. We don't share your details with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
If you don't go ahead with a job, we delete your enquiry after 12 months. If you do, we keep the job records for as long as we need them for tax, insurance and legal reasons.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. You can also object to how we use it. Ring 07907 035553 or email djsscaffoldingltd26@gmail.com and we'll deal with it within a month. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
